Prompted multiple times a day for PIN

Despite not using the wallet nor removing my device from my wrist, I am prompted multiple times for the PIN. I would like the PIN enabled in case the watch is lost/stolen, so it is not useful to those who take it (deterrent).

Apparently the Fitbit has falsely detecting that it has been removed from the phone. A common complaint and why many set the pin for Fitbit pay only.
