Had my ionic for a while now and until recently the battery would last several days if not using the GPS. I usually have bluetooth all day sync on though.
The other night the battery died about 5am. This surprised me as I hadn't noticed it getting low in the evening. I charged it to 100% and then it went flat again within a day.
Now it goes from 100% to flat in about 7 or 8 hours despite me avoiding GPS and turning bluetooth off.
It's very frustrating having to charge the Ionic 2 or 3 times a day and it's now pretty much useless for sleep tracking because the battery dies before I wake up.
Any idea what has caused this? and if it can be fixed? This drop in battery performance has not got gradually worse over time, just suddenly switched from lasting 4 days to about half a day.

In the last 2 days i have been experiencing exactly the same issues. I dont use GPS except occasionally at weekends. I do have blutooth sync on. Generally battery life has been fine last 4-7 days. something has happened in the last couple of days and now it goes from 100% at 8am to 0% charge by about 4pm.
Is this firmware or has the hardware failed?
