Quick Replies not working properly on Ionic

ANSWERED
Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When I choose an auto reply to a message, it goes through 3 or 4 times instead of once. Is this a bug that is being addressed?

Thanks for getting back @Ionic_BoyMom! Since quick replies are not working as they should, please try the following:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app
  3. Tap on Account > Ionic > Notifications
  4. When a pop-up with a "Bluetooth Pairing Required" message, tap on Set Up and continue.
  5. A new "Bluetooth Pairing Request" will appear, tap on Pair to continue
  6. Once in the Notifications menu, enable the ones you'd like to receive.
  7. Sync your device.

Hope this does the trick! Keep me posted.

Welcome on board @Ionic_BoyMom, it's nice to see you here! Thank you for reporting this behavior with the Ionic and quick replies, have you tried any troubleshooting steps? Make sure you've performed as restart as your watch.

Once you've done this, test your Quick Replies features again and let me know if the issue persists.

Catch you later!

Restarting the device did not solve the problem. Infact, after I restarted,
the next auto reply I tried went through 7 times!

My watch will not give notifications  when my phone rings or a txt is received. I have my app settings to except both.
