Quick replies working for missed calls only

The quick reply feature works fine for missed calls but the option doesnt even present itself on my Ionic for texts or any other messages (whatsapp etc) Has anyone else experienced this? Im using android version 6 which is a little old these days but if it is not supported why does it work perfectly fine for missed calls? It doesnt make sense

ImI'not sure if I understand @Lozo, you say that with a missed call. your able to see the notification on the tracker, and am able to respond with a text? 

With text messages, do these notifications show up on the tracker. but your unable to respond? Or do they never show and therefore your unable to respond?

Hi Rich. They all show on tracker, it just doesnt give me the option to send a quick reply to messages on tracker, but i can send quick reply responses for missed call notifications. Thanks

Interesting. i will have to wait for a missed spam call to see if i can respond.
