I've just downloaded the latest update which give quick replies on the ionic. The options are available in the phone app, but I am not getting the reply option in either text or email. I have rebooted both the ionic and the phone. Notifications are showing on my ionic as normal, just no quick reply option. 

Any advice please.

Same problem here. However, with Threema I get the option of acknowledge and discarding, equivalent to thumb up and down replies in the app...

Hi, I hahave the same issue in my new phone which is running Android version 6.

My old phone has Android version 7 and works as described.... 

 

Check the version of Android your phones running.

In deed, I am running Android version 6. But if this really is the problem, then it would have been nice if Fitbit had told us, right? Or am I just not aware of the statement of prerequisists?

its hidden in

Apps that allow you to reply to a message directly from the notification on your phone

so if the phone itself doesn't offer the "reply from notification" ( = below android 7) it won't work. i have no idea why they don't just say out. it's not even their fault, but by not telling it, it kind of gets theirs.
