Hi, my fitbit ionic counted 30,000 steps while it was charging lol

i've had this happen a few times already, any advice?

My wife's ionic was acting up over the weekend. She restarted it and it's working fine again.

Some find this happening when the tracker is sitting next to a fan or on the washing machine.
