Red X shows while vibrating

After upgrading the firmware today. about 5 hours later my Ionic vibrated and when I looked at the display there was a red "X" on the display.  does anyone know what this means.

Have you tried changing the clock face? Preferably to one of the original fitbit ones, see if the red X disappears then. It's usually associated with a failed clock face change.
