Hello,
I'm new to Fitbit.. so excuse me if this question was an obvious one.
Q. what is the difference between Tracking a walk using the 'Exercise - Walk' function and if I just leave the watch to track my movements (without touching the watch). I can see the Exercise function lets you turn on GPS, other than that.. I don't see any difference.
Thank you in advance.

Hello @RealSting All questions are good questions, nothing obvious about this either. If you utilized the exercise features while walking, you will get more than just steps tracked. You will be able to see a map of where you walked and other stats specific to that particular activity. I'd suggest taking a walk with it turned on and see what you get. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Have fun and keep stepping.
