Reminders to move not turning off

I like to turn the "reminders to move" off on days when I'm traveling or expect to be sitting down a lot (e. g. meetings). Unfortunately, the ability to turn reminders off en masse isn't working, instead when I turn it off it immediately turns back on when I sync the app with the watch. I can turn individual days on and off, but that's awkward for multiple days in a row, since I manually have to re-activate those days instead of just turning the entire system on and off.

Hello @Zeocite welcome to the Community Forums! It's a pleasure to assist you with your concern with the Reminders To Move feature.

Seems odd that you're unable to turn of the Reminders To Move feature from your account, even more when after syncing your device this turns on itself, certainly this is not a common situation but your patience with this is appreciated. To better assist you, can you please let me know which mobile device platform you're currently using to sync your Fitbit Ionic? Also, which mobile device? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that your phone operating system platform is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Try again to turn off Reminders To Move.

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

Okay, just force quitting didn't work, so I uninstalled and reinstalled along with updating my iPhone 7 to 12.4. That seems to have worked, though the UI for the app has regressed to the previous iteration. Could the new UI have had something to do with it?

Thanks for your reply and update @Zeocite.

I appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation with the steps that were previously shared, I'm happy to know that such information resolved this concern. I'm not sure if the new user interface was the root cause of this situation, I haven't received any report about that but I recommend you to keep your Fitbit app up to date to fix any bugs.
