Can I return my Fitbit Ionic because I’m unhappy with it? I bought it a few days ago, I started using it properly yesterday as I was away before. I went to the gym and wanted track my workout (weights) but the same time I need timer to check my rest time etc. and I couldn’t use both together! What a dissapointment! I look forward so much to buy it and now it’s completely useless for me. I still have to carry my phone with me so what is the point to have this watch? It’s not really fitness sport watch if you can’t use the most needed tracks during your workout!

While I'm far from an Ionic fan at the moment (currently in week 3 of having mine returned for a replacement after the latest firmware update broke it), if you're just trying to monitor your rest, can't you just look at elapsed workout time and time it that way? For example since I try to rest a minute between sets doing weights, I just would flip my wrist to see "ok I'm 15 minutes 30 seconds in" after finishing a set, then would know to start the next one at 16 minutes 30 seconds.
Or am I missing what you're trying to accomplish? If simply trying to keep a set distance between sets just look at how much time has passed. Just some simple math that doesn't take long to get used to.
That said, if you're really unhappy, given you said you bought it a few days ago, I'm sure a retailer you bought it from would take the return. I guess it depends on what retailer you bought it from.
Best of luck!

Dear Izzzz,
One cell phone app you might want to consider using is JEFit. Obviously you can't do it on the ionic but it is an insanely cool app and probably better for rep recording than any smartwatch app. One thing to note is that at the 300$ price point, the Ionic is probably the most superior smartwatch on the market at the moment.

I was trying hold left button but it doesn’t take me to the main screen and I don’t want to look at the watch every few sec to check the time. There’s few other issue with it, like weight which I can’t change for kg. I bought it in UK at the airport and I read return conditions but it doesn’t say I can still return if I was using it. I found on Fitbit web there’s 45 days for return but not sure can I still do it if I bought it in UK in the shop not online?

Sorry no help on the UK stuff.
You are correct that once you enter a workout, you cannot exit out to the main screen. Can be frustrating. But you can scroll through whatever data it will offer you within the workout. Since I don't have mine in front of me anymore, I can't remember exactly what that was. I know for weights it was elapsed time, heart rate, and calories at a minimum.
I just got used to watching how much time had passed and going that route. Really not all that difficult.
An airport retailer does make it tricky unless you travel a lot. Sorry couldn't help you more. I imagine Fitbit customer support will not be that helpful given they want you to keep it. Again, best of luck!

Of course I can use to it and I can carry my phone with me to use both but I didn’t buy a watch which wasn’t cheap just to have it and look at it. I wanted it to help me with ever day tracking and I’m very disappointed. A lot of other things is not clear either and it’s not worth the money what I paid for. Don’t know how it can be named one of the best sport watches when it can’t track basic things together

@Izzzz to answer your first question on if you can return. without knowing anything about where the Ionic was purchased or the unknown store return policy. We will be unable to answer.
