Running - Splits and a map does not show on mobile app

Hi!
I have Ionic.
I wander why:
1. splits km by km (pace) are not always shown in my run details? Sometimes I see it and most of the time I do not see it.
2. also, sometimes GPS show my route on the map and sometime not - also in my run details?
Sometimes I set goal by time or distance but it also happen when I just start to run with no pre-set goals.
Please advise and tnx in advance.

@twingo99 It's nice to see you on the Community. I appreciate that you mentioned you have an Ionic.

In order to get splits every time you're running, you need to set them before starting your workout, to do so:

  1. On your watch, open the Exercise app

    > swipe to choose an exercise.

  2. Tap the gear icon

    in the top left.

  3. Find Show Laps, and change the setting to Automatically.
  4. Find Automatic Lap Settings, and choose the cue type and frequency.
  5. Press the back button to return to the exercise screen.
  6. Tap the exercise screen, then tap the play icon to start the workout.

Regarding your question about tracking activities with GPS, please confirm you're doing this procedure to start a workout with GPS on your Fitbit Ionic. Could you confirm that you're seeing the GPS symbol when you start your workout?

Keep me posted. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Hi Silvia!

Tnx a lot for fast response.

Laps tracking successfully set 🙂

Concerning GPS issue, I see potential problem with WiFi that is always on.
I will change that and check what will happen. I will keep you informed.

Thanks again.

Have a great day!

Cheers

@twingo99 Thanks for getting back.

I'm glad to hear that your laps are tracking successfully. Let me know if connected GPS works properly after you changed your Wi-Fi setting.
