I just got the Ionic watch which is both very functional and good looking. However, it seems there is no running interval training, together with the speed. You might be implementing it?...

Hello @hugo22 and welcome to the Fitbit community.
I agree that the current running app of the Ionic is very basic.
There is already this feature suggestion you might vote and participate at.
In the meanwhile you might want to use the interval training exercise that is although not the same thing.

Great to hear you like your Ionic. I've had mine almost a year and use it mostly for running. I run intervals and there's a couple of options:
1. In the app on your phone look for exercise shortcuts .You can store up to 7 types of workouts in the Exercise app on the Ionic . Look for the Interval Training workout. If it's not on the list you can add it here. Open Interval Training and select the Move, Rest, and Repeat options .You can also turn GPS on or off depending on the type of intervals you're doing. After syncing, open the Exercise app on your Ionic and select Interval Training.
2. The other option is to use the Running workout . Once again open exercise shortcuts and select Running . Click Run Cues, click on Auto type and select when you want your interval to start (every mile, every 2 minutes, etc.). There's no way to tell when the Interval ends so you'll have to peek at your watch to check. Sync and select Running in the Exercise app . Ionic will vibrate whenever each interval starts. I used this option to run/walk a marathon earlier this year and it worked well.
