Running tracker caused restart, not finding GPS

Ok, so on the whole the watch has been working - it doesn't always sync, but everything else seems OK.  However, I went out for a run today, the tracker couldn't find a GPS signal at first, not so unusual so I pressed start anyway but the watch froze then restarted.  This happened two or three times.  Eventually, I wandered off and didn't start the run until I'd got a signal.  Later in the run the GPS signal disappeared again and didn't reappear until I'd restarted the watch.  When I got home it just wouldn't sync - multiple restarts of phone and watch - eventually it did sync with my computer, but took a few goes.  Anyone else had these problems?

@SunsetRunner, has your Ionic been upgraded to the new firmware, v31.1.16? I am curious since mine was crashing regularly during exercise mode activities, but since the firmware update it has not crashed.

yes I have updated. it didn't crash at all before that, and worked fine for a few days with the update.  Mine hasn't crashed since running yesterday, but I seem to have totally lost the ability to sync.
