Samsung 10+ not finding Ionic - Setup issue

I have done the firmware update and have updated the app to 3.37.1.

everything worked fine for a while after the update to 3.37.1 until this morning.  It stopped syncing again.  The last sync was around 6:30 this morning.

 

I removed and reinstalled the app.  I restarted the phone.  I restarted the watch.

 

In hindsight, unfortunately, I removed the ionic from my account to do the set up all over again (for the umpteenth time since the firmware came out).  

 

Now, even with having the current app installed, my phone bluetooth does not find the Ionic at all.

 

I have the phone plugged in and I have the Ionic charging as well.  Both devices have over 90% charge.

 

Can anyone please tell me what else to try to get the phone to see the Ionic?

 

I am hoping that if I can ever get the device seen, I may be able to move on through the process.
