I cannot get my Note 9 to sync with my ionic. No matter what I try. I have uninstalled Fitbit, Cleared to Cache and still no sync. It will pair as far as the 4 digit code and them time out and says it cannot sync try again later. I am at my wits end. It was syncing initially and then it stopped after an update. I just downloaded the latest update to Android on August 19, 2020 in hopes it would fix it. But I still cant pair or sync my phone. Someone please help me...its driving me crazy. Thanks for any and all help, Dave
Best AnswerWelcome to the world of FitBit where syncing occurs when only when the moon is blue or a cow jumps over. In all seriousness, this is a common issue for me too. I clear cache, data, restart my phone, uninstall/install app and nothing. Sometimes it takes 48 plus hours and then it syncs. My favorite error message is "no device found" but when you go to set up a device the "whoa there. There's a Fitbit Ionic connected to your account already! Are setting up a new one?" Well, if there is a device then why do I get a "no device found" error??? I updated the dashboard on the app and wonder if that wasn't a good idea! But then again, FitBit pushes new updates out without testing on all phones and then wonders why stock is down!
