Screen failure on Ionic

During the day the screen on my Ionic started to look wrong.

The screen had black stripes across the screen corrupting the display.

I wanted to restart the device and shut it off.

Now when I turn it on, the device turns on, but the screen is Black and NOT showing anything.

I know that the device is turned on, because the pulse Reader on the back flashes, and my phone is connected and can sync.

What do I do?

I'd call customer support if it's under a year old and still on warrenty.

Warrenty is 1 year in the states and 2 years in Europe
