My screen is on but my "touch" screen isn't working. I can't check steps, calories etc. The screen itself is on but I can't swipe to get to a different screen. I have turned off and reset it. I'm worried that it got wet so it shorted out somehow.
Best AnswerOne thing you might try is to change the watch face. Some of them are known to be a bit "buggy." If you are really attached to the face you have, try installing a different one and then re-install the old one.
Best AnswerGo to the home page of the app on your cellphone. On the upper right-hand corner of the screen is a "card-like" symbol with a small circle and some lines. Click on that and you should be on the account screen. Tap on "Ionic" and that should take you to a screen that has "clock faces" as an option. Click on that and then on "Pick a New Clock." Keep the phone near the tracker while doing this. It sounds complicated, but its isn't.
Best AnswerMy watch has done exactly the same thing except my phone can’t find the watch either! I notice on the back that the green LED is constantly on with a red LED as well which I assume is not a good sign?
plugging it in does nothing, my guess is it’s dead but I guess I will have to wait 4 days for the battery to run out before I can do anything!

Best AnswerI had to do a reset on my watch and everything now works again.
Not 100% convinced I did a factory reset as I did not loose any data but it worked!
Manual tells you how to do resets, I would tell you but I'm not sure what I did exactly!
This seems to be a common problem. I am on my 3rd Fitbit of the summer, the second two were replacements. Every time I deal with customer service they are awesome, but I have come the conclusion that the production in simply inferior. I am the one lone Fitbit hold out in my family and among my friends and I starting to feel like I dumb one. I sound like a grumpy old guy but it is getting to be bit ridiculous.
I'm only giving the thumb up vote so you know you are not alone. I'm angry and disappointed.
Best AnswerThis happened to me once before and the factory reset fixed it. This time I tried everything possible, finally contacted Fitbit and they are sending me a new one. I can see moisture in the screen, not cool since it is supposed to be water proof, that's the only reason I upgraded. Only had it 6 months.
