I have been trying for MONTHS to update the firmware for my Ionic. I have tried it via Bluetooth and WiFi both with my home and work networks. NOTHING works. I can't choose exercise and half of my apps will not work.
What can I do?! I am at the end of my rope and ready to sell my Fitbit Ionic and move to a Garmin.

I have not! Where do I find the information to do that? I would need to email them vs. calling.
