I have had my fitbit for about 3 weeks now  but today it decided not to light up my screen when I turn my wrist could a setting possibly be turned off? .... it is also inconsistent with syncing up to let me know about text and calls I love this watch and will be heartbroken if I have to get rid of it!!

Swipe to the right on the Ionic and check whether your 'Screen Wake' is set to manual or auto. 

If it's set to Manual then you have to press the button to wake the screen.

If set to Auto then the screen will wake when you raise/flick your wrist
