Screen wont light up

I have had my fitbit for about 3 weeks now  but today it decided not to light up my screen when I turn my wrist could a setting possibly be turned off? .... it is also inconsistent with syncing up to let me know about text and calls I love this watch and will be heartbroken if I have to get rid of it!!

Nevermind I figured it out it was just a setting issue!

Can you tell me what setting it is under? Mine is doing the same thing and I can't figure out how to fix it. Thank you.

Swipe to the right on the Ionic and check whether your 'Screen Wake' is set to manual or auto. 

If it's set to Manual then you have to press the button to wake the screen.

If set to Auto then the screen will wake when you raise/flick your wrist
