So I purchased a secondhand Ionic which was factory reset, at that time it had the logo and setup website. I went to set it up and it is now only flashing the fitbit symbol nothing else, I haven't connected it to my account, it won't connect to my Bluetooth. The logo just keeps flashing. Please help.

I've restarted it and also factory reset it and it's continuing to do the same thing.

Just to be certain did you initiate the factory reset as detailed in the instructions below (The hardware button combo reset)?
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This will trigger the 2-button hardware restart after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, whilst continuing to hold the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

Yes we did it that way, felt the vibration, it rebooted and then continued to do the same thing.

Ok thanks for confirming that.
It sounds as though you have tried all of the troubleshooting steps. I've seen some users on the boards with similar issues saying that they have let the battery run all the way down and that has fixed the issue, perhaps that's something you could try?
I've also flagged this thread for the attention of a Moderator who may be able to add some additional input, or open a support case if required.

I'm unsure what percent the battery is on, the charger won't seem to connect as it doesn't show the battery icon on the fitbit
Update: I left it over night and now has a red x, saying "data not cleared sync and try again".

Go into the fitbit app and make sure that the Ionic is removed from your account, then go into your phones Bluetooth settings/menu and unpair/forget the Ionic from there. Now go back into the fitbit app and try the setup procedure again. This is what worked for me when I had the same data not cleared error, so hopefully this works for you too.
