An Ionic cannot be set up with a Mac computer. I just got off of a chat with support and that is what I was told by Fitbit support.

@wendyone welcome aboard! Thanks for stopping by. Sorry for the confusion there, actually, your Ionic can be set up with a Mac computer as long as it is Bluetooth enabled. For more info check out this article: How do I set up my Fitbit device?
