Hi,
I bought my ionic about 1.5 weeks ago.
Initial setup went fine, i use a Huawei P20 Lite.
After the first day i lost the bluetooth connection to the ionic, could not get it to sync anymore.
Removed the device and bluetooth pairing settings and re-attached the device and it worked again.
6 hours later the device lost the connection again, this time a full factory reset was necessary + re-install of the fitbit app.
I have done a complete factory reset about 3 times, re-installed the app about 6 times.
Now i am lagging behind 3 days, and cannot get the device connected ever again.
When i am asked for the PIN (the PIN appears on the ionic) the app stays in "connecting...", the watch gives a clock error, also restarted it with left button + bottom right, also restarted bluetooth and the app.
What to do?

Unfortunately, your phone is not on the Fitbit list of approved devices so it might work sometimes in some functions but not all.

What?
It clearly states Android and IOS on the box when i bought it.
Ok what is the ETA for the support? assume a couple of weeks?

I have no idea. Fitbit doesn't give any advance notice. If you look at the list I linked you to, you can see which phones are covered.

Yeah this is a total cop-out by Fitbit in my opinion.
The box doesn't warn that it only works with a very few select devices, it says 'works with Android"
I had weeks and weeks of issues with my Ionic and ever tried different phones before they simply gave up and said that my phone wasnt supported.
Imagine if only some phones worked with your cars hand free phone calling?
Its just rubbish!
