Ionic Fitbit syncing

Ionic stopped syncing to my iPhone 6. So I deleted the iPhone app and tried to set it up again on my iPhone. But when I entered my info, I was blocked from setting up because an account already existed for my email address. How do I get the app on my iPhone?

That sounds like you were trying to create a new account. There's no need to do that, just sign-on using the id and password you used originally.

 

Note that deleting the app rarely fixes syncing issues. You are more likely to sort your syncing problem by restarting your phone and restarting your ionic by:

 

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
