Given the slightly shorter battery life compared to the blaze, a second charger would have been much more beneficial to users then a second band that will never ever get touched.

 

I would guess that the second band thing was absolutely nothing more than a way for Fitbit to save money though.  The second band eliminates 2 different packages, packaging, and storing of 2 different SKUs. 

 

I hate it though as a second charger would have been so much more useful.

I guess it's to help those out who are unsure what size to get, but yes it is a bit wasteful. 

 

I will be recieving my replacement Ionic today, fitbit said that I can keep all of the accessories for the defective unit and just send them the main unit. So luckily I will have two charging cables, but also two bands that I will never use.

 

I've decided I'm going to try and swap them with someone who needs a small and I can have their large. Preferably a different colour.
