Sleep stages not showing

I have been using charge 2 for almost a year and had no issues with sleep stages.

 

Shifted to ionic and it's a different story altogether. Since the last firmware update last week am not getting sleep stages. Have tried wearing is tight enough, at different places in the wrist, restarted the ionic, restarted the phone. What's esle can I do. 

 

I did get sleep stages before the update.

@Vikas72 Welcome to the Fitbit family! There are a few scenarios where you might not see the sleep stages but sleep patterns instead:

 

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Please check these scenarios and let me know. Also, did you got sleep stages for last night?

Thanks for the reply.
I was getting sleep stages before the last sofware update.

And before getting Fitbit I was suing charge 2 which game me sleep stages almost every night. I don't think that my sleeping behavior has changed. However I have already tried the suggestions you have given.

I have replaced three fitbit's in one year multiple problems no sleep stages. Factory reset wouldn't restart it. No notifications from Snapchat. Seems like that's all you say is you're working on updates but nothing gets fixed last time I buy a Fitbit product.

I also have problem seeing my sleep stages. So far out of 7 days I can only see sleep stages for 2 days.. Read about fully charge ionic. Tried last night but disappointed no sleep stages recorded also.

Does anyone have an idea about what is going on? I am sorry you are having the same issue! This was one of the best features I use everyday due to I do not sleep well! Seems like a wide spread issue. Fibit keeps thinking its my unit and has replaced it three times in 11 month's they need to look at their software programming. Also I no longer get snap chat notifications. FITBIT needs to work out these bugs NOW!!! I see this has been an issue for over a year. I would not have bought this product, I should have did more research before buying my Ionic!!Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S® 6.

I'm having the same issues  Everything working on my phone except sleep stages.

How long has this been happening to you? I just was talking to fitbit (made a call this time instead of their chat option) They logged into my dashboard to see my issues. After an hour on the phone they want me to try to do the manual sleep/awake mode in app for a few nights. I have ANOTHER case number. Anyone else having issues with NOT getting their snapchat notifications?

I think I have tried very thing I know and still no sleep stages and scores
since 24 Nov 19.
Guess have to wait for some new steps to try on.

I have tried this many times as well as uninstalling and reinstalling my app still not having any luck thank you for answering meSent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S® 6.

I did a factory reset last Saturday took me 6 hours to complete it worked for a week and now it's back to acting up again no-sleep score no sleep tracking.
