I have found if you go to bed before your sleep time that you inputed the time is completely off. At times been to bed at 11pm and often said 10pm. If you go to bed at your set time, or when you get the message get ready for bed then seems fine.
Go to bed before your set time, then the time you go to bed is often off?
Does it take daylight saving into account?
Seems not if you go to bed earlier than your set time.

@Denodan I hope you're doing well! That seems a bit odd! Have you checked your time zone settings to verify if they are correct after the daylight savings?
Please perform a restart on your Ionic. That should help you out for sure.
For the wrong sleep records; you can edit them to show correctly.

Yes its correct. If i go to bed rhe same time as i inputed or later then its the correct time. If i go to bed before my inputed sleep time thrn its not correct.

@Denodan Thanks for your reply! Did you tried the restart process on your watch?
If you did, was your sleep tracked correctly last night?
Try re setting your bedtime. Change it to another one, save and sync, and then change it back to the one you need.

I have a different issue. On the weekends I like to split my sleep into say 6 hours at night and 2 during the day. My ionic will only register the night sleep and not the one in the day. My surge had no issues with this.
Any suggestions?

I did try your suggestion and worked last night. Just wonder if it gets out of sync in time and your time needs resetting as you suggested?
Ether way its an issue they will need to fix?
It may well work if your bed time is exactly the same each night, but gets out of sync if you dont go to bed at the same time everynight.
But as suggested by you to set a different time, sync it and reset back to your regular time worked at lest last night..
They maybe better off with a manual sleep option to tell your fitbit your going to bed. Or when you get a go to bed alert it asks you to press any button when your in bed.

@Denodan Thanks for your reply! I'm glad to hear that it worked for you. It should work from now on! Did it worked for last night as well?
@MartinJustMarti Welcome to the Fitbit family! That is very strange, it should show the two sleep logs. I recommend performing a restart on your Ionic and try the sleep feature once again. Also, you can add your sleep logs manually. You could try this in the meanwhile.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted!

Thanks for your reply. My ionic has had a number of restarts and firmware updates none of which have make a difference. It doesn't appear to be able to detect a daytime nap - even a long one. Manually entering sleeping times seems OTT to me. I have no desire to be a slave to the machine manually entering data.

Makes no differnice as your allready a slave to the machine.
