Snapchat notifications not registering on ionic

I recently stopped getting snapchat  notifications to register or come through on the ionic. I have shut down, updated, uninstalled and reinstalled. I receive all other notifications and an occassional snapchat group message will register but not any individual ones. I'm very frustrated since this is the reason I bought the watch. This is how I do more of my communicating

I am having the exact same issue. I get some notifications when it's in a group snapchat but not when it's from an individual person. It started after I did the newest update. Any luck fixing it?
