Hi There,
My Ionic has (almost) always sync randomly with my xperia Z5. I can't synchronize it manually with bluetooth it is just going during 15 min and then stop asking me to try again (with the WIFI as well but same result)
But now I need to make the firmware up to date wich for some reason doesn't work either (with Wifi or phone data) wich I guess could make it even harder to sync.
All I have tryied so far
_turn off turn on both of the devices
_restart bluetooth
_switching all the parameter on and off like "all day sync"
_battery fully charged for both of the devices and sync on top of each other
_download the app on my computer and try to sync with it via bluetooth (my PC has a fitbit bluetooth receptor)
_ I read this http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866/
...
Anyway all the tips and tricks from a Xperia Z5 users are much more than welcome to know how you succeed to make your watche works .
This watches feels very useless ...

Hello @xplodfit and welcome to the community. I'm not an Android user, but should be able to at least point you in the right direction. Have you managed to resolve your issue, or is it still a problem?

I use the Xperia Z5. In order to fix the sync issues I un-installed the fitbit app, and reinstalled it. I also restating the Ionic.
It still has some sync issues, but I was able to get it to update, and I can force a sync fairly reliably.
Good luck!
