Hey all,
I've had the Ionic for almost two months. Overall it works great (although most of my calls appear after the phone stops ringing haha).
My question is on Bluetooth headphones. I just bought the new jbl reflect contour 2 set. It has great battery life at 10 hours and fits my ear perfectly. It pairs in about two seconds too which is great. However, after the second day of use, the music cuts in and out regularly. I was mowing the yard and couldn't hardly listen to it as the skipping was so bad.
I tested the music with my phone and no problem.
I should note the following:
I wear the watch on the same side as the Bluetooth connection on the earphones.
It started in the first few minutes so it wasn't part of the whole disconnection issue that I've seen on here.
The batteries are all charged
Disconnecting and reconnecting doesn't help.
It seems to mostly be tied to movement but not all the time.
Any other ideas? I can't get it to happen with my phone no matter how hard I try. But it happens regularly with the Ionic.
Thanks!

@Ryan13 Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for trying to disconnect and reconnect the headphones to resolve this. This is strange!
I'd recommend performing a restart on Ionic in between the disconnecting and reconnecting process:
- Unpair your headphones
- Restart Ionic
- Pair headphones again
Something else you could do is resetting Bluetooth. Just turn it off, wait 10 seconds, and turn it back on. This could also help you with this.
Try that out and let me know how it goes!

Santi,
There seem to be a lot of Community messages on this topic. I'm having the same problem, and contacted the Support Chat today, but they walked me through the same "fixes" (didn't fix it), and told me they've issued a case number and to watch the Community Forums.
Is there anything else I can do? Love my Ionic, but I want to use it for music while I run!

@joshfogarty Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for contacting customer support and trying all of the steps provided by them. It's unfortunate that you are still experiencing the same afterwards. However, I am glad a case was created for you.
What kind of Bluetooth headphones do you have?
When music is cutting on and off it is usually happening as a result of connectivity issues. Have you tried wearing your Ionic on the other hand/wrist? I've seen this has helped other users in the past.
Also, do you have any other Bluetooth devices nearby? If you do, try turning them off.
Try this out and let me know how it goes!

I've tried multiple times on the opposite hand. It's not naturally
comfortable, but I've tried it on walks and runs with the same results.
I'm primarily using Apple Airpods, but I also have Bragi Dash headphones,
and have gone through all the steps with those as well.
Finally, I've tried resyncing and resetting while out for a run, that's
taken me out in the desert as well as through the woods on a hiking
trail... no other signals around.
Not sure what else I can do?
