I don't know if this has been asked, but I have been having difficulties getting runs I've recorded to show up in the Strava app on the Ionic proper. Has anyone else been experiencing this issue?

I've had no issues with this but there is a significant delay in the sync (more so than charge 2)

Delay between finishing the run and having it sync? I'm having a hard time and really want it to work.

I too am having similar issues...
My runs will sync from the Ionic to the Fitbit app and up to the Strava servers. As such I can view my runs on the Strava website 🙂
However, they will no longer sync from Strava back down to the Strava app on the Ionic. In the 3 weeks I have owned my Ionic they appear to have sync'ed down to the Ionic app twice - Once when I first authenticated the Ionic app, after my first run with the Ionic, and once when I upgraded to the new phone app - as it seemed to forget Strava and Wi-Fi details on upgrade.
I would also like to see my gym workouts sync to Strava. I have read elsewhere that only GPS based activities are sync'ed and that I can download my workouts from the Fitbit web dashboard, but when I click "Export as TCX file" I get the following error from the Fitbit website:
"The activity TCX file could not be downloaded. We are looking into the issue."

I have the same issue. I have to 're-authorise' the Strava app each time to get it to update on my ionic. Makes it quite a pointless app as it is for me.

I reported this about 2.5 years ago... and the Fitbit TCX export API doc is still lying about gps being required. Unbelieveable.

Further to my last message, I reinstalled the Fitbit app on my phone on the 20th but this time when entering my Strava log in details I noticed that there is a small (as it simply redirects to the Strava website) tick box for "Remember me".
Whilst I tend not to use this type of option for most websites I have ticked the option this time to see if it makes any difference.
I can report that my runs for the 20th, 24th and today have sync'ed down to the Strava app on my Ionic unlike before.
So rather than the watch remembering the log in details it seems that the Fitbit app on the phone remembers them and then performs the downloading of the data which it them passes onto the Strava app on the Ionic. To me, a software engineer, this seems a little odd as the Ionic has Wi-Fi and I had assumed that it would talk directly to the Strava servers rather than rely on the phone and phone app.
