When exercising even with the screen off you can press the pause button by accident by bending your hand. Very annoying. There should be a lock feature. While walking using GPS mine paused when I was climbing up. I must have bent my hand and pressed the pause button. I lost 1 mile of walk before I realised.

Hi @oiOLLIEoi.
There is already a feature suggestion for this on the feature suggestions board. You might consider adding your vote to that. Hopefully the more votes the suggestion gets, the more chance it has of being implemented.

I have the same problem when wearing weightlifting gloves. You might want to try switching your Fitbit to your other hand so the pause button is on the other side of the Fitbit when you flex your wrist. This will prevent you from hitting the pause button when your wrist flexes. Unfortunately, it also may affect the accuracy of the data since it will change the "dominant" or "non-dominant" hand setting.
