Swimming Steps

Morning everyone

 

I have an issue with my ionic not always counting steps when I swim. Yesterday I swam 925m and got about 3000 steps for it. Today I swam 1000m and got 30 steps. Am I doing something wrong in the settings?

You shouldnt get any steps for swimming as it is not a step based activity. I suggest you restart your Ionic and hopefully it will stop giving you steps during swimming.
