Text Notifications NOT going to my ionic watch after system update

I have been having trouble with this for about 2 months now. My watch has stopped buzzing/notifying me of text messages. It buzzes with calls but NOT text messages anymore. I have disabled and re-enabled notifications and I even had TWO watch updates during the time it has not been working. I have posted here before about the same issue and it has still not been fixed.

With the iOS 13 update critical bluetooth code was changed with no notice to 3rd parties. Garmin is also experiencing issues. It may very well be that Apple has to correct this issue.

I’m having the same problem. Have tried everything from factory resetting, reinstalling the app, removing the device from my phone and reconnecting. Nothing seems to work.

My friend has an Ionic also and she has no problem.

I just spoke with Fitbit last night. Supposedly a new firmware update is rolling out soon. I was told the new will be  27.70.8  Fingers crossed.

@lyndz @SunsetRunner  My husband has a Garmin Fenix 5 and running iOS 13 and has no issues. 

@lyndz I also have a friend with an Ionic and she has no issues either and she's also running iOS 13.

So I'm not sure where the issue lies.
