I have an Ionic, upgraded from the Blaze which I loved. The Ionic is even better. However after having it for 13 months, it suddenly stopped synching. After several days of trying, without any luck and worried that my friends will think I'm either dead or lazy as my steps had dropped way off, I contacted customer support and had an online chat with them.

 

They talked me through how to reset normally and then how to factory reset the Ionic, but whilst it finally started to synch again, it then inexplicably turned off. The Fitbit person I was online chatting to messaged after I said it was not working and told me they will pass my issue on to the help dept who will email me with my next option. Great I thought, no email for days and then no help!!

 

Ohh how wrong I was. Less than an hour later I had received an email with the option of either 50% off another tracker or a free replacement tracker for what I have now. I chose the second option and three days later, my replacement brand new Ionic arrived. Set-up was easy and I'm know recording those steps again.

 

I can't speak for everyone, but I found the customer support from Fitbit absolutely brilliant. Many other companies could learn a thing from them on how to support their customers. I have a colleague who has the smart watch from a fruit supplier, If you know what I mean 😉 and when he had an issue, they didn't want to know! Just wanted him to buy a new one!!

Good to hear your positive story @Ratty2588 In my opinion Fitbit Customer Support is second to none. I have had a band replaced on my Charge 2 and more reciently the leather band on my Ionic too, total A1 hastle free experience.
