I've really had it with this 'smart'watch. Besides all of the things I wish it would do, but doesn't, I love it when it works.
Now, suddenly, the time isn't showing correctly anymore. I've tried rebooting it multiple times, to no avail. I've tried syncing it, which it did a couple of times at the start but the time kept on staying wrong. Now it refuses to sync.
I've tried manually changing the timezone, to no avail.
In all honesty, I would never recommend the Ionic to a friend. Too many issues, too many basic 'smartwatch' things it says it can do, but can't.
Now, it's not even doing the most basic 'watch' thing, telling me how late it is0

I had the same thing after the update. So I tried to reinstall everything and reset the Ionic to factory defaults. Finally I couldn't even install the Ionic anymore. So I had a chat with the fit bit support and finally the guy there asked when and where I bought my Ionic. Since my Ionic is already about 9 month old, he checked in their system and said, that I'm eligible for a replacement unit.
So right now I'm waiting for some email with the replacement instructions.

I hate to say it but I'm actually quite disappointed in my purchase. This 350 euro smartwatch only does half of the things it says it can do right and that's on a good day. I love it when it works but I would never recommend it to any friend.

Same issue here. My Ionic has been working flawlessly up until yesterday when it stopped syncing, I noticed because the time was off by about 25 minutes.
I’m using an iPhone 7 Plus, and the Ionic shows up in Bluetooth, but won’t connect. So far I’ve done reboots of the phone, the Ionic, toggle Bluetooth, uninstalled/reinstalled the Fitbit app, removed device from my Fitbit account, and literally 5 factory resets and it always ends up in the same situation. This morning I tried one more time and it connected great throughout the setup process, but after it downloads updates and finishes the connection problems start.
Very frustrating to try so many different things and it just won’t work. Hopefully this is just a software issue and can be fixed with a patch.

I'm having the same problem today. Time on the watch is 90 minutes slow and I can't get it to sync with the app despite resetting, turning off and on, etc etc. Very frustrating and annoying.

Yesterday evening I got the instructions and papers how to return the naked Ionic to the Fitbit return center. Looks like FitBit is quite busy with returns: I had the chat on Saturday and it took until Tuesday evening and one reminder email from my side to get to the next step.
As soon as the warehouse has received it, the process will continue ...

I'm having the same issues;
Last week; I've not been able to sync to my phone til at least 5pm and the time has been out by at least 15 minutes each morning;
3 Days ago - Out by 16mins
2 Days ago - Out by 21mins
1 Day ago - Out by 27mins
Today - Out by 34mins
Beyond a joke now!
