Top screen only shows zeros

I've had my Ionic for a few months, and I noticed yesterday in the middle of a workout that my steps, stairs and active minutes were reading zero, and my heart rate didn't read, though the watch wasn't loose.  I checked and by going to the Today screen all my numbers are there.  I checked to see if there was an update due and there isn't (yet.) I turned the watch all the way off and restarted, still zeros.  How can I fix the top screen so that I can monitor while working out?

It was the same for me, all zeros. In mine case the watch face needed to be updated. Go to the app where you can see clock faces. Under the tab MY CLOCK you see what face you have and there it told me it needed to update to work properly. Check the boxes for heart rate and son on. Hope this help you

Hi, @jerund, when you are referring to "top screen" are you talking about the watch face?  It sounds like something may have gone wrong with your choice of watch face.  I would suggest choosing a different watch face, or, if you like the one you have, go into your app, choose a different face and sync, and then go back and reselect the face you like and sync again.

If you are talking about the exercise screen, are you sure you actually started the activity by pressing the bottom button?

Sorry, I am only guessing what is going on, so I am a little uncertain about your issue.  A photo or screen shot might help.

I also have had the watch face show all zeros since my ionic updated on Sunday. Stats are correct in the Today screen and on the app on my phone.  I have done a reset with it not helping fix the issue.

Thanks, that did the trick.  Actually I was going to try it earlier but couldn't find the clock faces, so hearing it worked made me look harder.  Now it not only works, but I like the new face I chose!
