The touch screen isn’t working. I have tried both reset and restart multiple times- more than 30 of both! I have read replies about shut down through the settings app but I cannot access the settings app without the touch screen. Please can anyone help with any other solutions?

This happened to me and I factory reset my FitBit and 7 HOURS LATER the functionality started to come back.
Just out of curiosity, have you used your FitBit in water because that might be part of the problem.
Hope this helps!

Hi
thanks for your reply. Sadly it’s been well over 7 hours since I did a factory reset and still the touch screen doesn’t work.
i haven’t had it in water, just maybe the odd splash when washing hands etc.
thanks again for your reply

No problem! My Ionic isn’t working anymore. I guess the touchscreen was an indicator... They have offered a replacement, but I don’t want another buggy watch. Time to switch to Apple... I’m thinking a series 3...
What I’ve learned is: DON’T BUY A SMARTWATCH FROM FITBIT! YOU’LL REGRET IT.

Agreed about the water! Even though you're supposed to use it to track your swimming exercise, that's when my Ionic went kaput and my Charge 3 does act weird when submerged, so I don't use either in the water anymore. Charge 3 still works and Fitbit replaced the Ionic under warranty.
