HELP!
I'm stuck yet again! So, I have installed fitbit connect, I have connected my ionic, I have put it all on the same wifi network, fitbit connect finds my ionic, I click transfer music, and then it shows me a screen where I am able to 'add folder' as there are no playlists found.
So I made a playlist with window media player, which is a .wpl file, windows media player playlist, and works correctly on windows media player. I clicked 'Add folder' I went to where the playlist was saved and it tells me 'No items match your search' and that .wpl playlist I have created does not show up!
I've spent way too much time on this now, I really need some help as I am trying to do it at work in what little spare time I have!! Thanks in advance!!

M3U eh? So that's good news might be able to use JRiver Media player for this.

Really weird. It was the other way around for me.
It did not recognize the m3u playlists, only the *.wpl ones...

Hmmm. I just installed the fitbit app on Win10 and ran it, connected to the watch via "Media" on the app, put the watch in transfer mode. I then pointed to folders where MP3 files were and was able to create playlists using the Win10 fitbit app. No windows media player required! I'm successfully transferring files now over Wifi - it's very slow!

Update - Well it kept disconnecting. I worked out if I turned off virusscanning via Bitdefender it worked reasonably well. I need to find a more permanent solution (configure Bitdefender to ignore the Fitbit app and bypass scanning of the Fitbit watch) but this was a good temporary solution.

Guys, none of this is working, I have renamed the file to a .m3u file and no luck, I have tried to go to the location of the actual MP3s and still nothing! It's driving me mad now, what else can I do? Someone please help me sort this as I have just spent a lot of money on fitbit flyer headphones, seemingly for nothing!

I didn't say rename the playlist to m3u, I said make an m3u playlist. Not sure if Media Player will do this, as I don't use that particular program, but most of them will create an m3u.

I have been on hold with FitBit for almost 2 hours now with this same issue. I tried all the things here and the CS department is asking to send a screen shot. What a waste of time. I'm returning this piece of junk.

Wow sending a screenshot is going to far, well OTT, I for one am disgusted, I mean how dare them try to see what is going on
Anyway I hope you have a better experience elsewhere.

Did you guys try to put the playlist in the specified folder? The one that is set a sdefault in the FitBit Connect App? For my It did only recognize the default folder (C:\Users\MyName\Musik\Playlist <-- or something similar, since my Windows is in German).
Also it only works if your PC is connected via wifi to the same network the Ionic is connected to...
Took around 16 min for 3 playlists (*.wpl) with around 50 songs...

Try your steps again, but instead of making a WPL playlist, make a M3U one. The app should be able to detect the playlist now.
Uhmmm
How do I do that?

I called up the customer services team, as advised above and they were very helpful, the music seems to be transferring now, although there is no progress bar so I am hoping it is doing it.

@Emzsulli I agree! It would be nice to know if it is actually transferring and how fast. I had a how many minute left come up but as it had no connection to reality it didnt help much! But I eventually got my music.☺
