Treadmill Tracking

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So I spoke to support and he told me when I go on the treadmill to put it on treadmill setting. Also put it on treadmill when using shopping cart. Ionic still did not register all steps.

I found my old One and have ordered a new charger. My question is, I can clip it to pocket or bra and it should be better about tracking steps. What happens when I sync? Will it add duplicate steps from wearing both?

@Jonih  Here is the link to the Help article that has everything you need to know about multiple trackers on the same account.  Even though is says Fitbit will try to reconcile overlapping data when you wear two trackers at once, I haven't tested it.

I recommend only one tracker at a time.  Fitbit also says you can go from one tracker to another without having to sync.  I always sync one tracker before changing to another.  But that's me.  I realize that you want to be seamless and not awkward.

Does this help?

BTW, the treadmill choice expects arm movement during exercise.  Holding the handrail on a treadmill reduces step counts.  This is why treadmill doesn't work with shopping carts.
