Unable to change Ionic clock-face

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Ionic has synced, but I'm not able to change clock faces.  Says Ionic needs to be turned on.  it is on.  Just had a Fitbit update and since that update, its not worked right.

I've uninstalled the Fitbit app and reinstalled it 3 times and I've restarted my Ionic a dozen times.  Still not working!!! Please get this glitch figured out.

Hello @GIRN2016 it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, let me give you a hand with the inconvenience experienced with your Ionic device changing its clock face.

Seems odd that you're unable to change the clock face of your device, even more when the Bluetooth is in fact on, I appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. Please follow the next steps to change your clock face of your device:

  1. With your device nearby, in the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab User-added image > your profile picture > your device image.
  2. Tap Clock Faces > All Clocks.
  3. Browse the available clock faces. Tap the clock face you want and tap Select to install it.
  4. Sync your device to see the change.

Note the following on Fitbit Ionic:

  • To update the clock face on your watch, you must have no more than 38 apps installed.
  • Some clock faces have different color themes or other settings. To adjust the settings of a clock face, tap the installed clock face > Settings.
  • Many clock faces also require access to certain stats or other information. Note that turning off any of these permissions might cause the clock face to stop functioning. To adjust what a clock face has access to, tap the installed clock face > See all details > Permissions.

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

Thank you, but I've done all that, but it says my ionic is off, need to
turn it on (which it is) and I need my device close by, which it is close
by, since I'm wearing it.

You're welcome @GIRN2016, thanks for your reply too. Pardon me for the delay in responding your post.

Thank you for taking in consideration the steps that were shared in my previous post, seems odd that even after trying the above steps you're still experiencing this situation. To better assist you, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using to change your Ionic's clock-face? I suggest you to make sure that is compatible with our products and services, otherwise, you may try to change the clock-face with a compatible device and let me know if the issue persist so I can further investigate.

Looking forward to your reply, let me know if you have any additional questions.
