Unable to connect headphones

My ionic won't pair with my headphones.  There is nothing wrong with the headphones- they work fine with other devices. This has happened before but all of the suggestions on the forum don't work. At the moment it says it's pairing but it's been saying this for a while now. I have switched everything off and on multiple times, have turned off all other bluetooth devices. What else can i try?

Hi @Nadscol, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which headphones are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue? I suggest you to restart your Ionic and then check the information that's specified on our help article: How do I connect Bluetooth audio devices to my Fitbit watch?

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

I am using JBL Inspire 500. I first experienced this issue over 6 months ago. I have tried restarting multiple times. Sometimes the fitbit won't find the headphones at all. Other times it finds them but will not pair.

Your update is appreciated @Nadscol, sorry for the delayed reply.

Seems odd that both devices are not connecting, even more if your Ionic does find your earphones. To move forward with this, can you please let me know if there's a way to restart your headphones? Some JBL headphones have a restart process, maybe trying this and then restarting your Ionic will solve the issue.

Looking forward to your reply.
