Unable to reset/ change passcode

Hello. I’m having trouble with my Fitbit iconic. 1) it required I reset password on my phone- I’ve followed all instructions and it keeps saying password error and takes me back to step one. 2) I tried resetting iconic but I can’t complete as passcode doesn’t appear on screen (i just get ‘unlock on phone’. Please assist, I’ve been trying for days to unlock with no success. Thanks

This would be done through the Fitbit app @AlisonLACT.

Tap the ionic found in the top right.

Scroll up to the device lock and tap.

Put in the phones unlock code.

You can now change the lock settings and enter a new code.
