Unable to start an exercise in Ionic

When I right slide and click on "exercise", it won't give me the option to click on "run" and then be able to start. When I click on "exercise", it reverts back to the previous screen. Anyone have this happen and if so, were you able to fix it? I can't start to track a run or stop it at the ed.
