Unable to sync after firmware update

Please help. My Ionic won't sync to my fitbit app after the firmware update. It's ridiculous! I uninstalled and re-installed the app but nothing is working.

Have you you tried restarting the Ionic? If you haven't already done so press and hold the left button and bottom right button together for 15 secs, when you see the fitbit logo let go. Also try restarting your phone. I know these are basic things but sometimes they help.
