Unable to sync

Hi all Fitbitters,

I have been unable to sync my Ionic since 7th March. It's registering steps but nothing else.

I have done all the basic things, turned bluetooth on/off, unpaired it from bluetooth. Restarted fitbit by using the home buttom and bottom button. I have just deleted the device from the Fitbit app and set it back up, I've got to the point where I have put in my 4 digit code into my phone and it's been on connecting for ages......what shall I do? Smiley Frustrated

Since, you have already done the steps, I would have suggested (restarted, delete and re-install app) the only other thing I can think of is to make sure you have no other bluetooth devices nearby and if you do, turn them off. I find that in the beginning, set up and first few syncs, other devices causes it to be "confused." If that is not the case, please reach out to support so they can check to see if you have a faulty device or not. https://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs

Thank you Juliette, I am bluetooth free at the moment so it can't interact with anything else.

Thanks for the reply, I will check out support. 🙂

Just had this problem starting on March 8 and just resolved less than 48 hours ago, however I called it a "Partial sync," the steps were updated on the iPod Touch, but they were never updated in FitBit's database for challenges and the "date of last sync" was never updating.  After spending a couple of hours with FitBit support, I end up doing a "Factory Reset" which worked.  Now the question will be for how long.  So you can give the Factory Reset a try...
