Has anyone completed this upgrade process successfully? And, if so, please let me know how you were able to do it.
I started getting messages on my device that I need to update calibration. I tried several times over several days and I continued to get the error message on the device. Then I received the firmware update on the app on my phone (Pixel 2). I have tried several times over several days to complete the update, read several of the forum posts, and tried many things but have not been able to update the firmware successfully. I click on Start Update and eventually get a message that if failed with options to "retry" or "try over bluetooth". I click try over bluetooth and that does not work. I get another "update failed message". I have good wi-fi connection and bluetooth seems to be working fine so I am at a total loss. And, I am still getting the calibration message on my device. And, occasionally I get a message that I need to update the clock face. Ugh!!!

I recommend you to learn more about how to update the firmware version of your Fitbit device with the information that's specified on this help article. Then, please move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

I have the same problem. I am not able to get the upgrade to complete. It doesn't matter whether I use my iPhone, a chromebook, or a windows laptop. It doesn't matter whether I remove and re add the device. It doesn't matter whether I select bluetooth or wifi. NOTHING works. I can reset the watch time and time and time again and it does nothing to help the upgrade complete. It gets to 7% and then quits.
