Hi @Community_Guy, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the firmware update was successfully installed or you experienced this inconvenience while updating it? Also, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors of your Ionic are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation
Keep me posted please.

Same thing just happened to me. I did the update and my fitbit turned off 1/2 way through. I can NOT get it to turn back on. I have tried all combinations of pushing buttons.

Hey Ricardo, my problem seems the same as KEHBELL, in that the watch shut down halfway through taking the last update, and never came back on.
In my case, after waiting 2 hrs for the watch to respond to the app, I tried to power on the watch, possibly getting half started as I would see the fitbit symbol showing briefly before shutting down, after running through this process with many variations of button pushing and app connecting, I reset the watch pushing all buttons until the symbol came and went then releasing the right lower button waiting for a vibrate- this was completed and now the watch is completely dead..
