Unresponsive device after swim

Yesterday after swimming/sunning (which I have always done) I noticed my ionic screen black. Went to go turn it back on and nothing. Made sure it was dry and connected to charger for 6-8 hours and still nothing. Finally, it vibrated time like it was going to turn on and the Green light on the back was flashing but still no screen. HELP!

Hi @KirbieA, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation

Let me know if you have any additional questions, I'll be here.

Had the exact same thing happen to me yesterday and all I got was same troubleshooting responses and a 25% discount for a new one.  Needless to say, last time I buy Fitbit.

Yea that is totally unacceptable for the price you have to pay for these Fitbits and they only last a little over a year with everyday use. My wrist felt so naked as I have worn a watch of some type since I can remember so I went to my local store and purchased an Apple Watch after reading reviews. Here’s to hoping it does better 🤞🏻
