I had an ionic when it first came on the market i am now on my NINTH watch if not tenth i have five of them in a draw all dead as a result of swimming in a pool .Not one watch was physically damaged .
Supposed to be suitable for up to 50mtrs in depth they cant even manage 50mtrs in a pool.
I really cannot believe i am the only person that has this problem with this product.

Hello @welchyboy1, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for all the details that were shared in your post, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you and even more if you had issues with your previous devices too. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors of your Ionic are still flashing? When you were swimming did you press any button of your device? Does your device has condensation on the screen or the heart rate sensors?
Looking forward to your reply, the input that was the shared in your post is really appreciated.

a light
tap on the screen to activate the device , as with previous devices after
say 15 -20 minutes coming out of pool screen goes blank .
A short time later i connect charging lead and as with all the others the
fitbit logo shows then screen goes blank , try factory rest etc but
completely dead .
No moisture showing on screen . Exactly same pattern as all other devices.
Also no sensor lights showing .
I had the last replacement in November 2019 .
Also we had two where the glass came unglued again after swimming in pool .
Yours Faithfully Mike
